GreyhoundNews will be making its "Triple Play Weekend Weekend II" Road Trip March 9, 10 and 11 visiting Sarasota Kennel Club (3/9 Matinee), Boston Red Sox vs. Pittsburgh Pirates (3/9 in Ft. Myers evening) and Naples-Ft. Myers Greyhound Track (3/11 Matinee).
During the trip, we will be posting updates, race/game selections, video and photos from two great greyhound racing venues and the new spring home of the Boston Red Sox, JetBlue Park at Fenway South on Florida's West Coast via Twitter (http://www.Twitter.com/GreyhoundNews) to give our followers a virtual feel of a day at the track and Spring Training Baseball. Our first stop, Sarasota Kennel Club has been open since 1929 and offers live championship racing November 25 - May 5, 2012. Destination #2 will be atop the Green Monster at the new JetBlue Park at Fenway South in Ft. Myers, Florida where my beloved Boston Red Sox will take on "Post Time Perry's" Pittsburgh Pirates in MLB Spring Training action. We will complete our journey at Naples-Ft. Myers Greyhound Track Sunday afternoon. Since 1957, an estimated 16 million racing patrons have come to the track which currently runs a seasonal circuit with its sister track, Flager Dog Track in Miami, Florida.
